Take that magical ride on the Polar Express to the North Pole and meet Santa Claus himself!  What child would not delight in such an exciting journey?

Dress in your Christmas pajamas and hop aboard, Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa bring your camera to capture photos of the excitement in your child’s eyes.  Your adventure begins aboard the Polar Express with elves reading the award winning “Polar Express” written by Chris Van Allsburg. On your trip there will be songs, games and activities for the children.  Mrs. Claus will serve hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies.  As the train pulls into the North Pole, look out your window to see Santa in his workshop!  Santa hops on board the Polar Express and visits with each child finding out what special gift they want this Christmas.  Make sure to be nice and not naughty, remember Santa will be watching up until Christmas Eve.

On the ride back to the Dennison Depot, Santa will give each child a special jingle bell taken from the reindeer’s harness, if you can hear the bell ring you truly believe.

After the trip to the North Pole amble through the Dennison Depot, a National Landmark that served as a canteen for soldiers passing through during World War II.  There are several restaurants nearby including Frosty’s Cafe. The Whistle Stop Railway Gift Shop is the place for Polar Express souvenirs.  Getting tired after that long journey?  The Garver House Bed and Breakfast is just 15 minutes away.
