If you’re like me you love BBQ ribs. This Saturday, July 26th, 4:30 – 7:30pm you will get what you want. The Summer Sizzling BBQ at Perry Creek Winery is made for you. Ribs, squash, fruit salad, caesar salad and brownies, with a wide selection of great wines await you.
A large grassy picnic area is adjacent to the parking area and the Mac Rice band will be set-up on the platform at the lower end of the picnic area. There’s no better way to spend an evening under the setting sun than enjoying good food, great wine and friends. There is plenty of room at the picnic tables, but if you prefer you can bring your lawn chairs and a table to put your food and wine on. At $15 for wine club members and $20 for non-club members you, your family and friends will be entertained by a fun loving band and you can eat and drink the evening away.
Perry Creek Winery has a good selection of wine to pick from for your dinner wine. The current releases are: the whites – Altitude: 2401 Peek Chardonnay, Altitude: 2014 Viognier, 2012 Muscato; and the reds – Estate Cabernet Sauvignon & Estate Syrah, Zinman Reserve Zinfandel, Zinman Zinfandel; Altitude: 2014 Series: Barbera, Zinfandel Fair Play Farms Vineyards, Syrah Dark Forest, Petite Syrah Fair Play Farms Vineyards and the Cobra Series: Syrah, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. Prices range from $15 to $50. The average price is about $25. All of these great wines will be great with your BBQ dinner.
From the Author: Perry Creek Winery is just 11/2 miles, on the same road, from Lucinda's Country Inn. We have told many guests that if they don't behave themselves while at Perry Creek they could just crawl back to the B&B. We partner with them for many of their activities. This time we have been full long before they finalized their BBQ Dinner plans. Perry Creek Winery is a great place for tasting their great wine. The tasting room is roomy and the overall Spanish Mission style of Perry Creek is evident in every nook and cranny.
