It’s always a delight to listen to smooth jazz. When you can listen to great music, eat wonderful food (you bring your own – that’s why it’s wonderful) and drink fantastic wines; well life just can’t get any better. That is unless you do all that sitting in the great outdoors watching a gorgeous sunset at the same time. That’s what you can have at Mastroserio Winery’s Saturday Jazz Concert, October 11th , 5-8 pm for only $10 each. Wine Club members are free for two people. Please RSVP.
A special treat awaits those who attend: RIVERRUN is playing with Steve Lishman (sax), Dyne Eifertsen (trombone/loops), Paul Relvas (bass) and Scott Gordon (drums). You can bet your last dollar Ruggero will retrieve his sax from the tasting room and jam a little with these guys. That what makes these Jazz Concerts so special, the music and Ruggero playing his sax.
To make your meal even more spectacular Mastroserio Winery, located in the heart of the Fair Play wine region where the terroir is known for its varied micro-climates, offers a divine selection of wines. From the Author: I love to see Ruggero play his sax. You look into his face while he plays and you can see the love he has for what he is doing. That is why Lucinda's Country Inn has been a partner of Mastroserio Winery since he opened. We offer a special rate for those attending one of his Jazz Concerts. With this concert; if you spend the night at Lucinda's Country Inn you will get a double whammy of fun. The concert Saturday night, then on Sunday Ruggero will host the Sacramento FERRARI CLUB from 11-2. All you'll have to do on Sunday morning is stuff yourself with Lucinda's delicious breakfast, waddle to your car and drive back to Mastroserio Winery for a great up close look at those fantastic cars.
