Description:
The Park Point Art Fair in Duluth Minnesota always takes place on the last weekend in June–rain or shine. It is attended not only by travelers who have come to Duluth but the local folks from Duluth make it an annual ritual to attend. The range of art on display is overwhelming and one-of-a-kind. You will see artwork this weekend that you don’t find anywhere else.
The location of the show is at the end of Park Point which is a two-lane thoroughfare for about seven miles between the St. Louis Bay and majestic Lake Superior. At the location of the art fair, there is a great picnic area, soccer fields, playground, and a place to explore the pine forest and the beach. There are usually kayaks in the water to watch, birds and ducks of every kind to enjoy and great people watching. The Park Point Art Fair brings in about 120 artists that are known as the finest in the Midwest and you will explore everything from jewelry, photography, textiles, metal work, watercolors, sculpture, and the food is not to be missed. There will be artist demonstrations, a performance area with live music and entertainment and the food is to die for!
Admission is free and parking is free!
