This is the time of year for maple lovers of all ages! There are only a few short weeks to tap the maple trees for that pure gold that comes from within and makes the most delicious topping for pancakes, waffles and a multitude of tasty delights.
Crown maple is holding their maple weekend events on the last two weekends in March this year. Have you ever tasted maple cotton candy? How about maple cream or maple popcorn? Find out how you get maple syrup from tree to table and tour the immaculate processing facility where up to 50 gallons of sap becomes one glorious gallon of the best tasting, organic and good-for-you sweetener imaginable. Toast your first marshmallow of the year around the fire pit and enjoy the beautiful view. You will even see a tapping demonstration just in case you have a maple tree in your yard and want to give it a whirl.
Free taste testings and the on-site cafe will be open with a special menu created just for maple weekend!

From the Author: We area fortunate enough to live only 10 miles from Crown Maple/Madava Farms and use their syrup for everything from pancakes to salad dressing. It is the very best syrup I have ever tasted - we buy it by the gallon!
