Museum Village is a living history museum in Monroe, NY that houses authentic artifacts as well as reproductions to provide hands-on educational experiences for visitors. Over the years, staff and visitors have noticed super-natural occurrences in many of the buildings. Even the late founder of Museum Village, Roscoe Smith, has reportedly been seen and heard in the Visitors Center.
Museum Village will be hosting Ghost Tours on Saturday, June 28, Saturday, July 19, Saturday, August 9 & Friday, September 12. The Ghost Tour will begin at 8 p.m. at the Visitors Center where the group will watch the video from Visual Paranormal’s visit to Museum Village on October 13, 2012 where various super-natural activity was documented. Attendees will enjoy light refreshments and then venture out onto the green and into several of the reportedly haunted buildings.
The experience is $20 per person and reservations should be made in advance by calling Lori Siccardi, the Program Coordinator at Museum Village, at (845)782-8247 ext 1 Monday – Friday, 10:00AM – 2:00PM.
