Local Duluth businesses formed the organization “Duluth Loves Local” to encourage folks to buy local products and keep a good portion of the money spent in the local community. That organization of about 40 local Duluth businesses will offer their food and products at the Duluth Winter Village on December 2 and 3, 2017 on the grounds of the historic Glensheen Mansion. Each business will offer their beautiful wares from their own Winter Village wooden cabin.

The Duluth Winter Village can be your one stop shopping experience this holiday season. Shop from furniture, clothing, specialty food, jewelry, flowers and wreaths, outdoor gear, toys, art glass, bakery goods, smoked fish, local artwork and firewood. Several of Duluth’s finest restaurants will be preparing their most requested food at the Winter Village and there will be spirits, beer and local coffee. Carolers dressed in turn-of-the-century costumes will serenade shoppers each afternoon as they enjoy the beautiful grounds of Glensheen on the shores of Lake Superior. Live animals will be onsite as well as the opportunity for attendees to make s’mores on the campfire. At noon on Sunday Duluth Yoga will offer outdoor SNOGA for those interested! Dress warm and enjoy!

The hours for Duluth Winter Village are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Parking will not be allowed in the Glensheen lot. There will be a shuttle available to take folks from their cars at Congdon Elementary School or the UMD Lot B to the Duluth Winter Village. All the information is at the website.
