One of the best places to enjoy winter activities such as alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, skating, and sliding are at the Chester Bowl in beautiful Duluth Minnesota. This year a special Winter Carnival is scheduled for Saturday, February 28th, 2015. There will be games and activities for the whole family. The location is perfect in the middle of the city of Duluth with hills on either side and a creek flowing through the 117 acre park known as Chester Bowl.

From 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 28th you may enjoy a hay ride, a mini-snowmobile ride, take part in some games or do some skiing or sliding. Please make sure you dress for the weather as Mother Nature may provide the perfect snow for this winter carnival. Bring your favorite sled or toboggan and take advantage of the winter sliding hills (this is our family’s favorite location for sliding!).

Chester Bowl has a skating rink to enjoy, snowboarding, and skiing is available–both down hill and groomed cross-country trails. Dress warm and plan to attend the Chester Bowl Winter Carnival this year. There is no cost for this event!
