It jumps into view as it sits there at the point of Forest and Park; right across the street from the Main Beach. From the Author: Every penny spent on your ice cream cone, be it the waffle cone or the traditional, is worth the price. When we are in Laguna Beach, Lucinda & I always, I repeat, ALWAYS stop at Chantilly's. Yes it's the ice cream, but it is also the people that make Chantilly by the Sea such a great place. Before we built Lucinda's Country Inn up north in the Fair Play Wine Country we would visit Laguna Beach at least once a month when we lived just fifteen minutes away, in South Coast Metro. We spent hours on the Main Beach sitting along the boardwalk planning and designing Lucinda's Country Inn. Me, with my waffle cone filled with at least two scoops and Lucinda enjoyed her traditional cone with one scoop. Laguna Beach is our heart felt home in Southern California, but we truly love our piece of paradise up north, here in the Fair Play Wine Country operating our dream; Lucinda's Country Inn, the Best B&B in the Gold Country. Laguna Beach provided the scenery and Chantilly provided the comfort as we struggled with our endeavors. We couldn't have completed our dream without either one.
