The Treasure Mart is a consignment shop that began 53 years ago and has become one those “must see” Ann Arbor locations.
With over 8,500 square feet of floor space on three floors in an old brick house, each floor is crammed with merchandise and going through each floor is an adventure in itself. Furniture, dishes, rugs, electronics, kitchen items, seasonal decorations, gift items, pictures, and even some antiques and collectibles can be found a bargain prices.
It is a favorite place for incoming students and their parents to shop when furnishing their student’s apartment.
There is a parking area in the rear and also on street parking. Hours are Monday – Saturday 9AM – 5:30PM and closed on Sunday.
From the Author: I try to visit the Treasure Mart once a month because there is always new merchandise arriving. Sometimes I go there looking for something specific and often will find it, but I never walk away empty handed. It is an Ann Arbor experience like no other.
