You can’t visit New Orleans without hearing our local jazz and here in the French Quarter, that means heading to Preservation Hall. Founded in 1961 as a place to honor the city’s traditional musical sound, Preservation Hall is still going strong with nightly concerts that are open to all ages.
Over the years Preservation Hall has been home to many of New Orleans’ and the country’s biggest names in jazz. Visit today and you’ll hear some of the current masters—and maybe a few or tomorrow’s big time stars. Performances feature ensembles from a current collective of more than 100 top-class jazz musicians.
Show times are 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. , 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m.
