Description:
Established in 1696, the Old Yarmouth Inn is considered the oldest inn on Cape Cod, having once served as a convenient stage coach stop for travelers coming from the mainland. The wood-paneled tavern is the coziest spot in the inn with its warm and welcoming fireplace, polished bar, and just a few tables intimately gathered at the front of the building. The dining room is bigger and brighter with windows along the length of the room looking out onto scenic Route 6A, the Old Kings Highway. A small ante room known as the Red Room is the perfect setting for a quiet dinner in a romantic setting.
Serving lunch and dinner daily, plus a fabulous Sunday brunch, the food and service are consistently good. An eclectic menu includes raw bar offerings, an inventive array of appetizers, soups, and salads along with hearty entrees and scrumptious desserts. If Dani is behind the bar, you can count on a generous martini perfectly chilled.
Often chosen as a wedding or event venue, the restaurant is one of the most popular on Cape Cod, so reservations are always recommended. Due to their carefully chosen wine list the Old Yarmouth Inn has been the recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for several years running.
