Description:
Kona Art Gallery is a very special place to visit. Elizabeth Theriault owns the gallery with her husband, Gary. They are both artists. Gary creates Big Island life photos and Koa and other exotic Hawaiian wood art. Elizabeth runs the gallery and is always busy designing new creative drums of all sizes and sounds, feather mobiles, rattles and other amazing creations. Twelve other Big Island artists showcase wall art, stationary and jewelry in the gallery.
In addition to working and creating new items in the Kona Art Gallery, Elizabeth offers various ceremonies using art and healing tools for life transitions and celebrations. As a licensed wedding officiate in the state of Hawaii, Elizabeth’s Aloha style is nature based and spiritual. She adds the personal touches to any wedding or celebration.
The Holualoa Gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 10:30am – 4:00pm. Call if you would like to visit during off hours.
From the Author: I bought some small drums for my grandchildren and plan to have their handprints painted on the drums for Christmas. We have also used their drums in our blessing ceremonies.
