Hog Heaven is an awesome open flame BBQ restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and great food.  Owner Ron Rosenthal opened his first Hog Heaven BBQ restaurant in May of 2000.  Ron’s love of southern cooking and a little extra money in his pocket prompted him to try his hand as a restaurant owner.  Business was so successful Ron opened a second location in Tuscarawas county.  A few years later the original Hog Heaven closed its doors and a new building that would accommodate 180 people was opened.  Now in 2014 there are three Hog Heaven restaurants in Dover, New Philadelphia and Canton.

With a motorcycle theme, atmosphere casual and the food delicious, it is just a great place to eat. Ranging in price from 8.99 to 19.99 for a full dinner one has a choice of entrees such as: ribs, chicken, pork and steaks.  Dinners come with two sides such as: cole slaw, baked beans, black beans, fries, baked potato, baked sweet potato, potato salad and applesauce to mention a few.  The sandwich that made them famous is the Barbecued Hog aka pulled pork sandwich with their special house made BBQ sauce.  Really like the sauce?  You can purchase it by the jar or gallon!

All three of the Hog Heaven facilities have entertainment and a full bar.  The Dover and New Philadelphia location have outside dining with the New Philadelphia location having the largest outside beer garden in the county seating 1500 people.  Come for the great food, reasonable prices and stay for the entertainment – you won’t be sorry just full!
