New to the artistic scene this summer, Grainger Pottery is the product of two very enterprising sisters, Caroline & Lauren Grainger. Located along the historic Old Kings Highway in East Sandwich, MA Grainger Pottery specializes in ceramic fish and shells. With over 100 different species of fish represented, each is hand-fashioned from a mold that was created from an actual fish and hand-painted to accurately reflect the unique colorings of the species. Focusing primarily on local and New England fish, they also produce shells and horseshoe crabs along with a smattering of southern, tropical and freshwater fish.

The sisters learned their craft from their aunt and uncle who operate a similar store in Marion, MA. Crediting their uncle as their inspiration they decided to expand the ceramic fish making onto Cape Cod where there is a natural appreciation for art and wildlife.

The ceramics are perfectly suited for indoor or outdoor use and make lovely gifts for a new homeowner.

Store hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
