Description:
There’s pizza and then there is Aubree’s Pizza, which is in a category of it’s own. You can choose a specialty pizza, a traditional pizza or one of their favorites. There is a wide variety of craft beer on tap as well as your favorite soft drinks.
It is located in the heart of Depot Town, where the train runs by everyday. But back in 1972, Bill and Sandy French could never have imagined where their little one storefront bar and grill would take them. Over the years they doubled their physical space, and expanded their menu to include gourmet pizza, fresh baked breads, salads, pub sandwiches, burgers, tasty pasta and comforting entrees to become the full service restaurant they are today.
There are two floors each with it’s own function. Upstairs you can play pool, enjoy the bar and food and in the warmer months, experience outdoor TIKI Bar. The street level has a big oval bar, booths and tables, TV’s and dart games. In the warmer months your food can be served to you in the outside street patio area.
Open Monday – Saturday 11 AM – 2 AM and Sunday Noon – 2 AM. Delivery is 11 AM -1 AM. the kitchen closes at midnight.
From the Author: I have watched Aubree's go from a small bar serving burgers and chili to this large, beautiful restaurant. Bill and Sandy are very community minded people and have donated time and money to the betterment of Ypsilanti, The large clock in the center of Depot Town was financed by the sale of engraved bricks that line the street and was the inspiration of Bill French. They also formed one of the first merchants associations in the country. It has been an honor for me to know them and enjoy their delicious pizza.
