Description:
It has been happening for about 4 years now that just days before Thanksgiving, when Busch Gardens Williamsburg is typically closed for the season, it is transformed into a “Christmas Wonderland” with millions of lights, hundreds of trees & snow falling in the charming European themed towns.
You can choose from peppermint hot chocolate, hot apple cider or even an Irish coffee to warm your hands and take the frost off your nose while listening to Carolers who stroll the park. There is something for everyone to enjoy in Christmas Town; whether its one of the dozen or so rides that are open, a show with outstanding song and dance talent, or simply strolling the streets to take in the twinkle lights and crisp fresh air while snow dances around you.
While in France make sure to visit the live penguins in their ice-themed habitat. You will have a chance to see them interact with each other and the audience while they are in their own element.
“Christmas Town” is fast becoming one of the most beloved traditions for families from the area as well as tourists who travel to Williamsburg just for the Christmas Season. Our guests at the bed and breakfast say that it gets better with each passing year and I am inclined to agree.
From the Author: This is a wonderful place to take children as well as older folks who want to re-live what Christmas felt like as a child.
