In order to enjoy the last few weekends of fall before the onset of the winter freezing cold, gather yourself together and come on up to Saluti Cellars. Every Sunday between November 11th and December 23, 2013 they will have complimentary wine tasting and hot food from 12-3 for you to enjoy Saluti Sunday Warm Ups. A warm bonfire (weather permitting) will be 3-5.
To find Saluti Cellars you have to find the four way stop sign on Mt. Aukum Rd where Bucks Bar Rd is on one side and Grizzly Flats Rd is on the other. It doesn’t matter which way you got to the four way stop, turn onto Grizzly Flats Rd and go uphill about 4 miles. Saluti Cellars is on the left. Their driveway is steep and winding on the way into the absolutely knock down drag out most beautiful place you’ll find in the Fair Play Appellation. The grounds are stunning, the facility is spectacular, and the owners, Randy & Tina Rossi, are awesome. They will make you feel right at home cuddling before your own fire.
What a great little escape for a chilly fall day.
You probably will see Moke the winery dog or the winery pony, Norman the Clydesdale.
