Just over the high bridge from Duluth Minnesota, is Superior, Wisconsin and the historic Fairlawn Mansion located there is offering an Ice Cream Social this summer. Come one, come all for some old-fashioned summer fun at prices you might have experienced one hundred years ago! There will be music, there will be yummy food, there will be a cake walk and carriage rides and a free group tour of the mansion. This historic building was home to one of the area millionaires and also served as a children’s orphanage for many years. The huge home is impressive and very interesting to visit.
