Description:
Are you a lover of vintage automobiles? Do you dream of the one that defined your teen-age years and brings back those memories? Well, your dreams could come true on a Thursday night at Depot Town’s Cruise Night, when classic cars, hot rods and customs are on display. The owners are on hand and love to swap stories, talk about the restoration and show off their “beauties”, while the DJ plays tunes from the “day” and the hula hoop contest challenges the children and adults alike. If all this works up an appetite, just find a table at one of the sidewalk restaurants and while you grab a bite to eat and enjoy a beverage, do some people watching. Feel free to bring the whole family and make new memories.
THE place to be on a Thursday night in our area, when all the car club members show off their cars and line up from River Street and on the bridge to Huron Street. Cameras are welcome! I love to go and just people watch too.
Sound like fun? It all begins at 6 PM and goes until 9 PM from June to September.
