There’s no better way to start your 2015 than with a Sunday Champagne Brunch at the Fisherman’s Restaurant & Bar in San Clemente. They are perched on Pier 57 in San Clemente with a breath taking view. The food is excellent and the service is superb. Across the pier walkway from the restaurant is the Fisherman’s Oyster Bar for you oyster lovers. Throughout the month of January the Fisherman’s Restaurant & Bar is having specials for you to enjoy and share with friends and family.
The restaurant was built over the beach so as the waves splash through the pier pillars you see and hear the breakers. When seated out on the deck you are protected from the wind with the clear plexiglass that wraps around the deck. Oh, what a spot to have in the early morning with a mimosa or straight bubbly. At sunset the views are even more spectacular. Of course the menu is loaded with fresh catches of the morning and almost everything else you’d want.
From the Author: As we travel in Southern California one spot we love to frequent is the Fisherman's. When we're at our timeshare in Newport Coast this one spot is always a must. When we lived just a hop, skip and a jump (though a long jump) up the coast in South Coast Metro, we'd start a Sunday with a mimosa and omelets at the Fisherman's Restaurant & Bar then venture through the farmer's market up Avenida Del Mar toward I-5. After we'd load up with fresh veggies and fruit we'd venture back in the direction of home for an afternoon session of iced mocha and planning for Lucinda's Country Inn at Metro Pointe. Then we built her in Northern California's Fair Play Wine Country. Lucinda & I venture back down to San Clemente as often as we can, but no where close to being as often as we'd like. Running the B&B in Fair Play gobbles up hunks of time; so before you know it it's almost a year before we can break away. Ah, the memories of mimosas, the pier and watching Orca whales swim by the Fisherman's Restaurant & Bar.
