Provincetown Town Hall is the heart of all Commercial Street activity and right in front of the landmark you’ll find Doug Call, the enthusiastic balloon and face paint artist.

Originally from Stanford, Connecticut, Call has been spending his summers in Provincetown for six years, creating balloon animals and decorating kids’ faces. While Call has been entertaining children in several parts of the northeast, such as New Haven and New York, he has fallen in love with Provincetown, saying, “It really is the best town.”

Ever since he was a child, Call has been passionate for theater and face painting. Working in Provincetown has allowed him the opportunity to share this joy with the thousands of families who visit every summer.

Seeing the children light up when they receive a dog balloon or a hand-painted superhero face painting inspires Doug Call to return to Provincetown next year. Be sure to take your young ones down to meet this delightful artist.
