Description:
At the New York State Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo, NY, entrance for children under the age of 5 is always free. On the second weekend of the Faire, all children 12 and younger are free! No purchase or coupon necessary.
On this special weekend, dress the children in fairy, pirate, or other Renaissance Faire garb or rent a costume once you arrive. There will be a Children’s Costume Parade and Contest. The parade steps off at 12 Noon and will end in a contest judged by the noble court of the Shire. Sign up at the Information Booth.
Before or after you parade through the Shire, make sure to check out other children-friendly activities. The stage schedule that changes weekly and includes over 125 performances, including comedy, action, storytelling, and magic shows. Make sure to catch unique events like the living chess match or the joust.
The Shire welcomes visitors from 10am-7pm Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day Monday.
